In order to final out your project, you need a pool inspection. Contact us and we will get started!
Overview
Inspections consist of three parts: Plans, Piping, and Pre-final
Inspections include up to one hour assistance understanding and completing required forms, typically sufficient. Additional time is billed $100/hr.
Checklist
● Document Checklist
● Pool plans with details (piping, equipment etc)
● APSP 7 2013 Suction Avoidance worksheet/flowchart
● APSP 15 & 7 Compliance Documentation Form, including:
-Pump chart
-Filter loss chart
-Drain/skimmer cutsheets
-Any other equipment cutsheets
● Piping/pressure test verification
Plans Inspection
● Provide complete pool plans, including: Dimensions, volume, depths
● Piping diagram
● System equipment and related documentation, including: pump, filter, heater, suction/return fittings, skimmers.
● Completed APSP 7 2013 Suction Entrapment Avoidance Worksheet (ANSI 7 Checklist)
● Completed APSP 15 & 7 Compliance Documentation Form found here. (More info on completing forms below)
● System TDH and design flow rate.
Piping Inspection
● Required 25lb/15min pressure test is verified either virtually, or on-site. Piping inspection is not enforced, provided the APSP 15 form is completed and matches site conditions. Photos documenting actual pipe runs and connections should be taken at this time.
Pre-Final Inspection
This is the last inspection before the city final inspection
● Obtain gauge readings and calculate actual TDH.
● Use pump curve and actual TDH to determine actual system flow rate.
● Compare actual system flow rate to SOFA flow rate (SOFA rate must exceed system flow rate).
● Review Third-Party Inspection Checklist and compare with site conditions.
